COWBOY HOT CHOC
It’s that time of year, Cowboys. Tis the season to get cozy and sip on a hot beverage, & aren’t you in luck, we have the perfect hot bev for you!
We love to nourish our bodies well, so creating this childhood-inspired recipe with ingredients that make us feel our best was bound to happen. We’re excited to share it with you.
Serves 2 Cowboys
Ingredients you’ll need:
2 cups low fat Oatly (or whatev milk tickles your fancy)
2 scoops Vital Protein Collagen Peptides
1/2 tbsp raw cacao
1 tbsp of honey
lil pinch of salt
whip cream & dark choc shavings to top (always a feel-good addition)
optional: 1 tsp vanilla extract
Now, let’s get mixin’:
Toss all of the ingredients above, except for the whip cream & choc shavings, into a Vitamix or any blender you have access to
Blend on high for about 20 seconds, or until all ingredients are thoroughly combined
Transfer mixed ingredients into a cooking pot, & heat over the stove until desired temperature is reached - make sure to stir frequently (heating this recipe on the stove gives us all a moment to slow down and be present, which is why we recommend this step as compared to a microwave - but if you’re in a hurry, microwave away baby)
Once heated, pour into your favorite mug & top with whip cream and some extra dark choc
