BANANA BREAD
To say that we love a bangin’ banana bread recipe is an understatement. So we decided to get creative and make one with some of our favorite ingredients. This recipe offers satiation on all levels—mind, body, & soul. When you’re back here to whip up another batch in just a few days time, don’t say we didn’t warn you… it’s THAT good.
Perks: naturally gluten-free & can become dairy-free by subbing in vegan butter
Total time: 1 hour & 10 minutes
Ingredients you’ll need:
3 VERY ripe bananas
1/3 cup ghee (melt before adding to mixture)
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1 & 1/2 cups oat flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Let’s get bakin’:
Preheat oven to 350° F
In a medium mixing bowl, start by adding your ingredients one-by-one. We added each ingredient in the order that they are listed above - make sure to mix ingredients together each time one is added to the bowl
Once mixture is thoroughly mixed, use some of the excess ghee that was left in your measuring cup to grease an 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2 (1 lb. loaf pan)
Transfer mixture into greased loaf pan & bake for 50 - 55 mins at 350°F
Let cool, and enjoy!!
Can be stored in a closed container on your countertop for up to 4 days :)
