33. Understanding Food Combining with COMBINED by Alanna

In this episode, we're discovering more about the idea of food combining with COMBINED by Alanna. Alanna shares her health journey which includes years of agonizing IBS symptoms, countless doctor visits & tests, and experimenting with many different diets. All of this led her to try food combining — which is more or less an order of operations approach to fueling your body to optimize digestion. Alanna also shares the food combining principles she adheres to and explains how you're still enjoying all of your favorite ingredients and portions, just being mindful of how you are pairing together the ingredients in an effort to reduce any excess discomfort that can come with digestion. It worked so well for Alanna that she developed COMBINED by Alanna, "a properly combined plant-based" meal service based in NYC.
